11 popular radio stations in Somalia are now using the
Trac FM method to get in touch with their listeners. Participants become part of the debate at hand and can vote on possible solutions, give their opinions and report their experiences.
Participation has soared to over 4000 respondents within the hour. Poll results inform decision makers on all levels, especially when they are invited to participate in the live talk-shows.
Topics such as migration, family planning and malaria have already been discussed. Somali people from all regions of the country can now make their voices count through live radio talkshows and SMS polls.
