Governance

Our model ensures citizen participation in issues of governance and social accountability. Opinions are collected straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak, about which issues in peoples’ immediate communities leaders are or are not addressing.

POLL QUESTION.

Location Responses

Uganda is divided into districts, spread across four administrative
regions: Northern, Eastern, Central and
Western. Each district is divided into sub-districts, counties, sub-counties, parishes and villages.

It is the duty of national Members of Parliament to draft laws for the good of the nation, as well as ensure the provision of services to their people. While each district has a Member of Parliament responsible for it, within the districts, there are also local council leaders, parish leaders and other community leaders trusted by their people to see to their welfare.

Radio presenters ask listeners questions regarding deliverance of services, and public accountability. The motive is not just to hold leaders accountable, but also to see how much citizens understand of the roles of their leaders and what is expected of them.
